Welcome to the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, South Carolina's website. I am delighted to extend greetings to you on behalf of the Sorors, Amicae, and Youth from the Palmetto State. We are proud of the manner in which we promote the ideals of our sorority: Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love, and Finer Womanhood.
This web page is our way of communicating with our state as well as sharing our legacy of service with others. As you examine the pages, you will find evidence that the Zeta Family in the Palmetto State continues the legacy of service that began in 1920 with founding of the sorority; and in 1940 when the first graduate and undergraduate chapters were chartered in the same state.
We have a rich history of rendering service to those in need. South Carolina has received numerous awards on the regional and national levels especially in Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE) and Walk America (now March for Babies).
Our successes are due to a hardworking, diligent state executive board and the conscientious efforts and focus of our local chapters and auxiliaries. Your continued applications of our state's goals have made all of our accomplishments possible.
I hope you will be inspired as you visit our website. Please feel free to provide feedback on how we can continue to improve in our delivery of information to you.
Gianna S. Gardner,
South Carolina State Director
